Frequently Asked Questions
I don’t offer packages as all of my weddings are tailored to my couples needs. I feel this gives you better value for money and more control. As there are so many factors that can influence pricing. I feel it is misleading to give you a list of prices that may not reflect your final spend. I will work closely with you to ensure we are respectful to your proposed budget.
Most couples book a minimum of 6-12 months out, but we can easily work within a shorter lead time if needed. Your booking is only confirmed once your deposit is paid After paying your deposit, we can easily make changes and revise details. Final confirmation is around 4 weeks prior to your wedding day.
Yes for our full floral design service.
Each wedding is so different that a true ‘average’ doesn’t really exist, however, most generally speaking, 10-15% of your overall wedding budget is a good range. Allow 20-30% if you are wanting flowers to be a major feature.
All quotes are provided after a consultation only. The first step in the process is to send an enquiry so I can check that your date is available! You can do that using the contact tab in the menu above. If your date is available, you will be sent a questionnaire to complete and we organise a time to catch up and chat over the details. So fun! If you are in another province or overseas we can do this via video call, Zoom or Skype.
I do not stock any vases, you will need to hire or buy if you want to gift the entire centrepiece including the vessel at the end of the reception. These are all details we will discuss in your consultation.
Yes I do. I will usually schedule a site visit either with you or alone. If you are wanting something logistically challenging, we may also need to meet with the venue manager.
You are absolutely able to request a mock up if you would like one. These are paid for separately and are yours to take home and enjoy. However, as flower availability can change day to day, I cannot promise that any mock ups will be the same as the finished product on the big day. My design ethos is all about creating a ‘feeling’ rather than being too specific about flower types, that way you get the freshest, most beautiful flowers! Some creative freedom always yields the best results.
Our DIY bride option caters for family to get involved.
In my experience this rarely works well which is why it is part of my terms to be the only florist engaged on the day if you go for the full floral service.
MAGIC!! Normally your bouquets and other personal flowers will be delivered first off, allowing your photographer time to get images and so that we are out of the way when all the important wedding prep stuff is going on! Then the team deliver and set up all of the flowers at your ceremony and reception ensuring everything looks perfect. Where necessary, we use our discretion to ensure that everything from tablecloths to toilets look as they should.
You and your guests are free to take the flowers home to enjoy! Any hired items are to be left at the venue for collection. For installations and other big feature pieces I normally get my couples to supply a handful of buckets that I will fill with ‘the best of what’s left’ for you to collect and enjoy! Anything left at pack-down must be disposed of as venues do not want anything left behind. We work all these details out at your final meeting!
